The effects of the novel coronavirus pandemic have been felt around the world and the spread of the virus has led to school and workplace closures everywhere. This in turn has seen the creation of new home offices and classrooms in spare bedrooms, dining rooms and even garden sheds.
Building on the research carried out as part of the Learnometer project, Professor Stephen Heppell has been looking at some environmental factors that can have a negative impact on the way we work in the home environment. More importantly, Prof. Heppell suggests ways in which we can make improvements to our new working environments too.
